This is partly to do with the fact that the OEM door was black and I used orange plasti dip which does not hide well.Still, I’m intrigued that you were able to get the rims done with about 1/2 can each. I peeled the initial coat and am in process of painteng the door silver prior to dipping .

2/28/2018 · I used a whole can on each rim the graphite color on the stock rims was a pain to cover I should have used a primer first. It was my first time using Plasti dip so there’s a few lift ups already around the edge of the rim tbh if I wasn’t planning on selling them after I get new rims I would’ve used regular paint but I wanna be able to just peel it off.
