10/17/2013 · 15l per 100km and an average of 44km. Thats in a 04 VY2 SS with a full Rage exhaust system. I recently replaced the o2’s, ignition leads and spark plugs which improved my fuel economy . It was sitting at around 17.9 before the replacements. Thats around town and open road combined.
My VY SS is dead stock and I get around 14L/100 around the city with a bit of driving on the freeway. On a trip to Canberra from Sydney I got an average of 8.6L/100k sitting on 120 with the cruise on. I don’t drive mine easy at all but it’s always got good economy . I ‘ve never had a tank last under 420k’s.

6/18/2013 · I Recently upgraded from my Daewoo Lanos to a VY Commodore for business needs, and I’ve noticed that Commodore is less fuel efficient than my Daewoo. Now obviously its a 4 Cylinder Vs. a 6 Cyclinder but my LCD Display tells me I’m getting 15L per 100km’s at an average speed of 36Km/h.
It produces 260kW at 5600rpm and 510Nm at 4400rpm. These outputs are achieved on 98 octane premium unleaded the 6.0-litre also uses more fuel than the 5.7-litre.
